Urea Fertilizer (CH₄N₂O) is the most widely used nitrogen-based fertilizer in the world, accounting for over 90% of nitrogen fertilizer usage. With a nitrogen content of 46%, urea provides the highest concentration of plant-available nitrogen among solid fertilizers. It is a white crystalline, water-soluble fertilizer known for its cost-effectiveness, versatility, and ease of handling.
Urea is suitable for a wide variety of crops and soils and is used to promote rapid vegetative growth, improve yields, and boost overall plant health.
High Nitrogen Content (≥46%)
Promotes strong vegetative growth, ideal for nitrogen-demanding crops.
Cost-Effective
Lower transportation cost per unit of nitrogen; affordable compared to many alternatives.
Easily Soluble
Can be applied dry, via irrigation systems (fertigation), or as foliar spray.
Easy to Store and Handle
Available in prilled, granular, and coated forms; can be stored in sealed bags or bulk under cover.
Urea can be applied in various ways, depending on the crop and growth stage:
Basal and Topdressing:
Commonly applied before planting or during active growth. Application rate typically ranges between 40 to 300 kg/ha, depending on crop and soil type.
Timing:
For minimal volatilization, apply just before rain or irrigation, or in cool conditions (early morning or late afternoon).
Fertigation:
Urea dissolves in water and is suitable for injection into irrigation lines. Recommended concentration:
No more than 3 kg urea per 1 L water
Foliar Spray:
For horticultural crops, use 0.5%–2.0% urea solution, preferably low-biuret grades.
Important:
Avoid placing urea near seeds to prevent germination damage.
Ensure even distribution using calibrated spreaders.
Do not mix urea with other fertilizers during storage.

Determine Nitrogen Requirements
Conduct a soil test or consult an expert to decide optimal application rate.
Apply Evenly
Use a broadcast or drop spreader for uniform coverage.
Incorporate or Irrigate
Water the soil immediately after application to move urea into the root zone and reduce nitrogen loss.
Avoid Overdose
Excessive application or contact with seeds can harm crops.
High Purity, Reliable Performance
Consistently meets ≥46% nitrogen requirement with low biuret and moisture levels.
Global Compatibility
Widely used across Asia, South America, Africa, and the Middle East.
Multiple Grades Available
Prilled, granular, and polymer-coated urea for different farming systems.
Flexible Packaging
Available in 25kg, 50kg bags, and bulk jumbo bags; OEM branding available.
